HeyTea's first nationwide cake laboratory opens at Shenzhen MixC World
On April 6, Heytea’s Shenzhen Mixc World store officially opened. With “Cloud Above” as the spatial theme, it brings the first-ever cake lab in the country to physical launch. It is reported that this is the first time cake lab has stepped out of the heytea lab line of stores. Previously, this product line was only available at three heytea lab locations nationwide in Heytea.
In its product lineup, beyond serving classic tea beverages, Heytea’s Shenzhen Mixc World store also offers eight popular cake lab products, plus the first-ever store-exclusive new item, “Burst Taro Mud and Cassava Cake,” priced between 36 yuan and 49 yuan.
According to multiple users who shared on social platforms about what they saw on-site, on the morning of April 6, around 10:08, the cakes sold out. After that, customers had to queue for the beverages for at least four hours.

It is also reported that as early as 2017, Heytea moved into Shenzhen Mixc World with the country’s first HEYTEA PINK themed store. The launch of “Cloud Above” marks Heytea’s return to Shenzhen Mixc World as it further explores differentiated store concepts.
Since 2024, Heytea has been continuously rolling out differentiated new store locations and upgrading the spaces of existing stores across major core commercial districts in cities both in China and overseas. From Times Square in New York, Cupertino in California, and Eaton Centre in Toronto, to Chengdu Chunxi Road, Guangzhou Shamian, Shanghai Fengshengli, Beijing Chaoyang Joy City, Hangzhou Tianmuli, Wuhan Mixc City, and more—Heytea has kept showing up in multiple cities’ high-energy commercial districts through unique space and product experience offerings.
