Reports indicate that Motorola plans to collaborate with GrapheneOS, with the first device expected to be released in 2027.

TechNode February 28 report: According to technology media Piunika Web, yesterday, a netizen recently shared a slide screenshot that appears to be an internal Motorola presentation on the Reddit forum.

Then the post was quickly deleted by the moderators, but the screenshots are still circulating online. The leaked slide title is “End-to-End Device Lifecycle Solutions and Services.” In the security section, GrapheneOS (TechNode note: Graphene OS) is explicitly listed. This image suggests that Motorola may officially support and adapt GrapheneOS, rather than it being a simple third-party port.

However, GrapheneOS’s official account has been denying cooperation with Motorola for the past few months, but as early as last October, rumors emerged that the system would end the “Google Pixel exclusivity” strategy and seek collaboration with a new OEM manufacturer.

If this leak is true, Motorola is very likely to officially announce it at the MWC 2026 expo. However, issuing an announcement doesn’t mean the corresponding product will be on sale right away—we may need to wait until 2027 to see a Motorola phone with built-in GrapheneOS.
