Don't be a slave to your emotions; be the master of your trades.

Emotional trading is the fundamental reason why the vast majority of retail traders suffer losses. When making money, they become arrogant and overconfident; when losing money, they become anxious and irritable; after consecutive losses, they retaliate by opening positions; when the market is unfavorable, they stubbornly hold on out of spite. These behaviors are driven by emotions rather than rules and logic. Mature traders always set emotions aside, focusing only on signals, trends, and risk management. Regardless of profit or loss, they maintain a calm mindset—neither boastful when winning nor discouraged when losing. Emotions can interfere with judgment, disrupt execution, and lead you to make the most foolish decisions. Learn to control your emotions, think calmly, and execute according to your plan. Only then can you truly become the master of your trades, rather than being led around by the market.
