According to monitoring by 1M AI News, ByteDance’s intelligent agent platform Coze has announced the launch of version 2.5, creating a new ecosystem called ‘Agent World’ for AI Agents. This new ecosystem allows Agents to move beyond chat interfaces, providing them with independent execution environments, skills, and personalities, enabling them to become digital partners capable of autonomous collaboration and growth. Coze 2.5 offers three core supports: ‘Fully Equipped Tools’: including ‘Independent Cloud Devices’ (cloud computers and cloud phones) that allow Agents to operate computers and phones on their own, and a ‘Dedicated Workspace’ (scheduling and cloud storage) that enables 24/7 background operation. ‘Fully Equipped Skills’: encompassing video creation, programming (Coze Programming CLI), and industry-specific expert skills in fields such as law and finance. ‘Fully Equipped Personality’: through long-term memory and an independent email identity, allowing Agents to have manageable memories and a ‘Digital Social ID’. In its announcement, Coze mentioned the vision of an open ecosystem for ‘Agent World’, enabling Agents to learn skills, engage in social interactions, and aiming to build a digital society where AI Agents can act independently, continuously grow, and collaborate with each other, turning every user idea into digital execution.
