The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the State Administration for Market Regulation have issued the “Standard-Driven Action Plan for Optimizing and Upgrading the Textile Industry (2026—2028).” Of these, it is proposed that by 2028, there will be more than 300 standards covering areas such as the formulation and revision of standards for multi-dimensional adaptation, digital transformation, green and low-carbon development, and health and safety, so that the textile standards supply capability will be comprehensively enhanced; accelerate the assessment of the advanced nature, applicability, and dissemination of industry scientific and technological achievements, promote the conversion of advanced and applicable scientific and technological achievements into standards, and strengthen the linkage between standard formulation and revision and technological innovation; carry out monitoring and analysis of the implementation of key standards, ensure steady improvement in the quality of standards supply, and make the implementation and enforcement of standards more effective; formulate and revise more than 10 international standards, keep the international standard conversion rate continuously at 85% or above, and steadily improve domestic-to-international consistency.
