US media: Negotiations with Iran, the US throws out the "Vance card"

U.S. publication The Politico reported on the 6th, citing sources familiar with the matter, that regarding U.S.-Iran negotiation talks, the U.S. team has long been led by President’s envoy Wittekoff and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law. However, if the talks make progress, Iranian and U.S. officials would meet directly; in that case, the U.S. side may “swap in” Vice President Vance to take over the negotiations. Previously, Vance had already been viewed as the U.S. negotiation representative Iran would be more likely to accept. (Xinhua News Agency)
