Domestic commodity futures open: Methanol rises over 5%

People’s Finance News, April 7: In the domestic commodity futures market, most contracts opened higher. Ethylene glycol, plastic, and methanol rose more than 5%, polypropylene rose more than 4%, and pure benzene and paraxylene rose more than 3%. Live hogs, caustic soda, apples, and glass fell more than 1%, while rapeseed meal, aluminum oxide, soybean meal, and coking coal declined slightly.
