Polygon mainnet will undergo the Giugliano upgrade on April 8. Nodes need to upgrade as soon as possible.
ChainCatcher message, according to the official Polygon Foundation announcement, the Giugliano hard fork upgrade will be carried out on the Polygon mainnet at block height 85,268,500 around 22:00 on April 8.
This upgrade will bring the following improvements: enabling block producers to announce blocks earlier to achieve faster finality; directly adding fee parameters to the block header; introducing a new RPC interface to support fee data.
Officially, all node operators are reminded that they must upgrade Bor to version v2.7.0, or upgrade Erigon to version v3.5.0, to ensure normal operation.
