The General Administration of Customs released data on March 10 showing that in the first two months of 2026, China’s total value of goods import and export trade reached 7.73 trillion yuan, with the year-on-year growth rate returning to double digits at 18.3%.

Of this, exports were 4.62 trillion yuan, up 19.2% year-on-year; imports were 3.11 trillion yuan, up 17.1%.

Overall, over the first two months, China’s foreign trade continued to display a steady-to-progressing trend, with further evidence of its resilience and vitality.
