On April 1, a delegation from the Brazilian Software Association (ABES) visited FAB Information’s Shenzhen headquarters for an in-depth exchange and study visit. Led by Rodolfo Fücher, Chairman of the Brazilian Software Enterprise Association (ABES) and Chair of the Technical and Innovation and Digital Transformation Committee of the Economic and Social Development Commission of the Brazilian Presidential Palace, the delegation also included Edson José Marcusso, Mayor of Boituva City in the state of São Paulo, Brazil; heads of government development departments; senior executives from relevant financial, technology, and telecommunications enterprises; and experts from universities and research institutions across government, industry, academia, and research. FAB Information’s Vice President and CTO Li Hui, together with key management teams including the International Business Department, the AI Innovation Center, the Banking Product Line, the Automotive Product Line, the Insurance Customer Department, and others, warmly received the delegation and held discussions and exchanges.

This visit is an important practical step in deepening cooperation in the digital technology field between China and Brazil. It builds a solid bridge to promote coordinated development of the global digital economy. The two sides carried out pragmatic consultations around key topics such as Brazil’s market access mechanisms, cooperation in technological innovation, and deep integration between universities and industry in industry-university-research collaboration. They also deeply discussed cooperation potential in areas such as artificial intelligence and financial technology, laying the foundation for comprehensive, multi-level cooperation between the two sides in China, Brazil, and the broader South American region.

At the beginning of the exchange, the management team of FAB Information accompanied the ABES delegation to tour FAB Information’s digital exhibition hall, fully showcasing the company’s core technological strength in fintech, artificial intelligence, big data, and other fields, as well as its achievements in global project practice.

During the roundtable discussion, FAB Information’s Vice President and CTO Li Hui led the core management team in warmly welcoming the ABES delegation and introducing FAB Information’s global strategic blueprint. As a domestic leading and fast-growing software and information technology services enterprise, FAB Information has established dual headquarters in Shenzhen and Singapore, and branches in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Middle East. It has built a global customer delivery and service network, and is currently accelerating its strategic layout for the South American market. It is committed to providing one-stop solutions to global customers with leading digital technologies, empowering the development of the global digital economy with China’s technological strength.

ABES Chairman Rodolfo Fücher (Rodolfo Fücher) introduced Brazil’s software industry ecosystem and market potential. ABES brings together more than 2,000 member companies, accounting for 80% of the core share in Brazil’s software and services market. It serves as an important bridge connecting Brazil with the global digital technology field. Brazil represents 40% of the market share of Latin America, and as one of the members of the Southern Common Market, it has signed a free trade agreement with the European Union. At present, Brazil has strong demand for high-end technical solutions in frontier areas such as artificial intelligence, software development, and financial technology. China is at the world-leading level in these fields. The entry of China’s technological strength represented by FAB Information into Brazil’s market is of great significance for pushing global technology cooperation into deeper levels and co-developing a global digital future. Adriano Mario Ferraris Fernandes, Director of the Development Department of Boituva City (Boituva) in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, warmly invited FAB Information to conduct an inspection and visit in Brazil, helping to connect with high-quality industrial resources in Brazil and encouraging both sides’ enterprises to build cooperation. Professor of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil introduced the university’s academic offerings in the fields of digital transformation and information development, and expressed the university’s intention to cooperate with enterprises.

Focusing on core cooperation topics, the two sides reached multiple important consensus:

FAB Information will work together with ABES and local Brazilian enterprises to advance cooperation in the areas of digital trade and technology services. It will enable Brazil’s technological innovation and industrial upgrading with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, as well as digital solutions; the two sides will integrate resources from Chinese and foreign universities. Based on FAB Information’s cooperation experience with top universities, the mature industry-university-research integrated collaboration model will be implemented in Brazil. This will help cultivate talent teams for digital economy sectors such as AI and software engineering locally, so that China-Brazil digital industries can achieve mutual complementarity of resources and win-win development amid the wave of global economic integration.

FAB Information’s extensive solutions in the financial industry—including real-time settlement systems of the central bank, cross-border payments, and insurance core systems—drew the delegation’s key attention, and the two sides held a special discussion on cross-ocean cooperation in the field of financial technology. Ana Karolyna Guedes Schenk, Managing Director of Bradesco BBI, Brazil’s largest private bank, said that FAB Information will deeply integrate China’s advanced financial technology solutions with Brazil’s local financial ecosystem. This can help Brazil’s financial industry improve infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of digital operations. At the same time, with China-Brazil financial technology cooperation as the bond, it will inject momentum into building a more inclusive and efficient global digital financial ecosystem.

From São Paulo to Shenzhen, a hemispheric digital technology resonance was sounded by FAB Information. With this China-Brazil in-depth dialogue anchored by shared cooperation consensus, the core direction of international industrial alignment in the digital age has been defined. In the next steps, FAB Information will work together with the ABES delegation to promote the establishment of a multi-dimensional cooperation mechanism and open a path for integrated development between China’s digital technology and the Brazilian market. It will inject China-Brazil wisdom and strength into building a new ecosystem for global digital economy cooperation and sharing the fruits of digital development.
