BlockBeats news, April 7: This morning, 60k ETH were redeemed from Ethereum staking and transferred to Coinbase. According to Ember’s analysis, the owner of these ETH is Andrew Keys, co-founder of DARMA Capital. These ETH have been staked for nearly 5 years.

In the past few days, these ETH were redeemed in large amounts, consolidated, and then transferred to Coinbase. During their nearly 5 years of staking, these ETH earned about 18% coin-based returns (16k ETH, valued at $34.2 million).

Public information shows that DARMA Capital (full name: Digital Asset Risk Management Advisors) is a global investment management company focused on digital asset risk management and blockchain technology. The company was founded in 2017 and mainly provides professional risk-managed digital asset exposure to institutional investors, emphasizing Quantitative Systematic Alpha Generation rather than a traditional VC-style multi-token speculative portfolio.

Andrew Keys is the company’s co-founder and managing partner. Previously, he served as the Head of Global Business Development at ConsenSys and was one of the key early drivers of the Ethereum ecosystem. Currently, Andrew Keys also serves as the co-founder of The Ether Machine.
