🔥IDF says the commander of Iran’s “Quds Force” special operations unit has died


On April 7, the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement on April 6 local time that, based on intelligence, the Israeli Air Force launched an attack on Tehran, Iran, which resulted in the death of Asgar Bagheri, the commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ “Quds Force” special operations unit (Unit 840). The statement noted that Bagheri was killed in the attack on the 5th. Bagheri has served as the commander of the “Quds Force” special operations unit since 2019, has held a series of important posts within the “Quds Force,” and participated in attacks worldwide targeting Israelis and Americans.
