India launches safeguard investigation into soda ash
According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on March 16, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that, based on an application submitted by the Indian industry association Alkali Manufacturers Association of India (AMAI), an investigation will be launched into safeguard measures for imports of soda ash (Soda Ash). The Indian customs code for the products involved is 283620. The period under investigation in this case is from April 2020 to September 2025.
