A person becomes dull not necessarily by nature, but often because they have been in an environment of constant negation. Continuous suppression can cause someone to gradually give up thinking; lack of trust can make them lose their own judgment; restrictions on expression can slow down their thinking; not receiving recognition can diminish their motivation to act; frequent belittling can trigger self-doubt; and always being criticized can make them afraid to make decisions. Over time, people habitually "pause their thinking," which appears as if they have become dumber. The true way to break the deadlock is to reduce or even distance yourself from those who constantly deny you, and to return to a space that allows you to express yourself, make mistakes, and receive affirmation.
