Mars Finance News. April 6, according to CNN, U.S. President Donald Trump used profanity on social media to threaten Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran’s embassies and consulates across multiple countries posted mocking remarks in response. The Iranian Embassy in India said, “Cursing and insulting are the actions of kids who can’t take losing. Control yourself, old man!” The Iranian Embassy in Zimbabwe published a “presidential etiquette,” including “using respectful and restrained language in public remarks” and “conducting oneself with dignity, reflecting the seriousness of one’s position,” among other items. The Iranian Embassy in the UK cited a quote from American writer Mark Twain, saying, “Keep silent and let people suspect you are a fool rather than speaking out and proving, beyond doubt, that you are a fool.” The Iranian Embassy in South Africa also urged the American public: “To tell the truth, smart Americans should at least do something to uphold their own dignity.”
