Gate News Report, April 6 — According to CCTV International News, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke to the media at the White House regarding Iran. Trump stated that Tuesday, April 7, Eastern Time, is the final deadline, and it is "non-negotiable." Trump reiterated that "Iran must not have nuclear weapons," claiming that during his first term, he tore up the Iran nuclear deal, assassinated Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, "to prevent Israel from being erased from the map." Trump insisted that he has achieved a "regime change" in Iran, saying that the current Iranian leadership "is more reasonable" in negotiations with the U.S., but also stated, "They (Iran) just refuse to admit defeat, but they will eventually fold — if they don’t, they will have nothing." Trump also said that if he had the choice, he would "take away Iran’s oil," because "oil is easily accessible, and they (Iran) cannot control it. I will make a lot of money." When asked by reporters, "Since the U.S. has repeatedly claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been destroyed, why is the conflict still ongoing?" Trump responded, "They (Iran) still have some missiles and drones. They got lucky and shot down a (U.S.) aircraft."
