The Chengyu Central Line High-Speed Rail Jingkou Jialing River Bridge is completed today.

A reporter learned from the China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group that at around 10:00 a.m. on March 31, with the completion of welding on the last segment’s weld seam in the new steel box girder closure segment, the newly built Chengdu–Chongqing high-speed railway on the Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line (hereinafter referred to as the Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line high-speed railway) successfully completed the entire-line control project—the Jingkou Jialing River Extra-Large Bridge—by locking it in smoothly. This marks that all the bridges along the Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line high-speed railway have been fully joined throughout the line, laying a solid foundation for the railway to open on schedule. The Jingkou Jialing River Extra-Large Bridge is one of the key and most difficult control projects on the Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line. The bridge is 1,294.3 meters long and is the double-tower cable-stayed bridge with the largest span on the entire Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line. (CCTV News)
