On April 3, Zhenyang Development held a Science and Technology Innovation Conference. Zhenyang Development’s Party Committee Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager, Shen Shuguang, attended the meeting and delivered remarks.

Shen Shuguang pointed out that over the past five years, the company has aligned itself with the direction of innovative development, placing scientific and technological innovation in a prominent position, advancing key efforts across the board such as tackling technology, building platforms, cultivating talent, and driving digital transformation. It has maintained a steady escalation in innovation investment and provided an unshakable保障 system; highlights have emerged in intellectual property and standards development, and its brand influence has continued to be strongly demonstrated; the capabilities of innovation platforms have leaped to a higher level, and a collaborative innovation framework has been accelerating into shape; the talent team has kept growing, and innovative vitality has been fully unleashed; digital transformation has been pushed deeper, and the results of digital enablement have been remarkable. While affirming achievements, the company must also confront shortcomings and focus on resolving the bottlenecks and difficulties that constrain the company’s scientific and technological innovation development.

Shen Shuguang emphasized that “the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan period” is a critical time for the company’s science and technology innovation to move from “accumulation in quantity” to “a qualitative leap,” to cultivate new quality productive forces, and to strive to create a world-class chemical new materials enterprise. Focusing on six key tasks, it will work to fully build an industry innovation benchmark: first, build a strong home and attract talent—strengthen the core innovation platform and deepen breakthroughs through industry-university-research collaboration; second, make targeted breakthroughs—focus on攻克 core areas and address the shortfalls in high-quality achievements; third, remove barriers and clear obstacles—improve innovation systems and mechanisms and activate the inherent innovative drive of all employees; fourth, attract talent and pool wisdom—intensify the efforts in innovation investment and build a solid talent-centered support system; fifth, speed up and improve efficiency—accelerate the application of成果 transformation, and optimize the overall industrial development structure; sixth, integrate digital and intelligent technologies—deepen the upgrade of digital empowerment and cultivate fertile soil for an all-domain innovation ecosystem.

Company leadership personnel, personnel at the middle management level and above, and relevant departments, totaling more than 80 people, attended the meeting.

The meeting also arranged for representatives of the company’s “Innovation Star,” Zhou Zilei, Ye Yangyang, Li Jianjun, and Lu Xuefeng, to share their experience, announced the company’s main science and technology innovation work tasks for 2026, and organized a special lecture on 《Application of Industrial AI Large Models in Chemical Plants》.
