The Israeli military claims to have struck an "underwater research facility" in Iran.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement on the 25th that, with the cooperation of the air force and intelligence on the 24th, it carried out strikes on multiple military-industrial targets in the Isfahan area in Iran, including an “underwater research facility.” The statement said that, during the relevant operations, the Israeli military struck this “underwater research facility” with the cooperation of the naval intelligence department. The facility was alleged to be used for the design and development of submarines and related systems, and to undertake production tasks for unmanned surface vessels. The statement said the strike would significantly limit Iran’s ability to develop and produce new naval submarines and would affect its existing fleet’s upgrade capabilities. The IDF said it will continue to strike Iran’s military-industrial complex to weaken its long-term accumulated production capacity. (Xinhua)
