On March 5, according to Fei Chang Zhun, Air China flight CA789 from Beijing to Riyadh departed from Beijing Capital International Airport at 13:32 Beijing time on March 5. The flight is the first flight by a Chinese airline to the Middle East after the situation in the Middle East affected earlier operations. It is expected to arrive at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh at 20:20 local time. The return flight, CA790, is scheduled to depart from Riyadh at 22:55 local time on March 5, and is expected to arrive in Beijing at 12:52 Beijing time on March 6. Data from Trip.com Airotinerary shows that, as of March 4, there are about 40 planned flights from the United Arab Emirates to within mainland China from March 4 to March 6, and about 10 planned flights from Saudi Arabia to within mainland China.
