The three major U.S. stock indices all opened lower, with Tesla down over 3%

People’s Finance News, April 2: U.S. stock’s three major indexes opened lower across the board. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.34%, the Nasdaq fell 1.66%, and the S&P 500 fell 1.21%. Tesla fell more than 3%, and its first-quarter vehicle deliveries were below market expectations. The storage chip sector plunged sharply: SanDisk fell more than 5%, Micron Technology fell more than 5%, Western Digital fell more than 4%, and Seagate Technology fell more than 3%.
