People’s Finance and News April 4—On April 4, a reporter learned in local time that a formal meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was held at the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul. The meeting was conducted behind closed doors and was not open to the media. It is understood that the agenda for this meeting focused on three main areas: first, issues concerning the development of current bilateral relations between Ukraine and Turkey, with the aim of further deepening cooperation between the two countries across all fields; second, regional development-related topics, exploring pathways for shared development amid the regional situation; and third, promoting the establishment of a ceasefire mechanism for the Russia-Ukraine conflict and seeking a long-term solution, with particular emphasis on related efforts made within the framework of the Istanbul process.
