Zhang Xue celebrates her championship with her former team! Once rivals turned enemies, the ending proves everyone wrong.
The motorcycle scene has really blown up lately! Zhang Xue, with his own Zhang Xue motorcycle, went straight on to win back-to-back titles at the World Superbike Championship.
Once this came out, many people were waiting to see how Zhang Xue would fare against his former employer, Kayo Motorcycle. After all, the grudges between the two from back then—anyone with a bit of sense could tell.
In 2017, Zhang Xue, along with two partners, co-founded Kayo Motorcycle. In 2019, he went crazy and pushed hard to develop an 800cc engine of his own.
He paid out from his own pocket, borrowing 10 million, and Kayo also poured in more than 20 million. In 2021, the engine successfully fired up, directly setting a historical milestone for a Chinese brand.
Who would’ve thought that in early 2024, Zhang Xue and his partners’ ideas finally fell apart completely? He slapped the table on the spot, turned on his heel and quit, then immediately founded Zhang Xue Motorcycle.
This year, he directly won two championships on the international stage in two days—one battle to become a legend. This move put Kayo right in the middle of the storm.
Kayo’s official livestream room even posted a headline that read: “Before you came, we were already champions.”
As soon as these words came out, the motorcycle community exploded into chaos. People were squeezing and targeting Zhang Xue openly and covertly—the tension was fully charged.
Later, with public opinion getting too hard to contain, Kayo rushed out to issue an apology. They said it was only because the headline’s word count wasn’t enough and it didn’t explain clearly. They said it was absolutely not meant to deny Zhang Xue’s contributions.
Everyone thought the two men would have to grow old and die without ever dealing with each other again. Then a twist came—right away!
Yesterday, Zhang Xue sat down for a meal with Kayo’s CEO Yan Kai. The two smiled and shook hands, reconciling on the spot—sweeping their past grievances under the rug.
Zhang Xue also spoke graciously, saying he had always been grateful to Manager Yan. If Kayo hadn’t produced that money back then, he wouldn’t have had a chance to realize his dream.
He also said that people are just different in personality and pursue different things. He wants to take risks and go all out; the CEO wants to play it safe and proceed step by step—no one was wrong.
Real power never traps someone in past grudges and resentments. Instead, it makes them look up and see a road farther ahead.
So, do you think Zhang Xue’s mindset this time is really big? If it were you, could you reconcile with your partner with a smile and let bygones be bygones?
