Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Guide various innovation resources to cluster around enterprises and drive the industry forward toward cutting-edge and high-end fields
People’s Finance and News, April 3—According to a Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announcement, from April 2 to 3, a symposium on advancing the integrated development of industrial and information technology science and technology innovation and industrial innovation was held in Suzhou. The meeting emphasized that to further promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, efforts must be made to strengthen the enterprise as the primary innovation mainstay, vigorously cultivate science and technology leading companies and high-tech enterprises with core technology leadership and strong innovation capabilities. Under the country’s key R&D plans and key special projects, a number of enterprises should be deployed to take the lead in undertaking projects, guide various types of innovation resources to cluster around enterprises, and drive the industry to move toward the frontier and high-end fields.
We must focus on coordinated tackling across the entire industrial chain, accelerate the establishment of a “demand-driven, task-coordinated, and results-shared” R&D and problem-solving mechanism, and overall make the best use of innovation forms such as “inviting bids to win and take the lead” and “horse-racing” approaches. We should focus on key links in the industrial chain, precisely allocate and deploy innovation resources, and form the maximum collaborative effect. We must also clear the pathways for the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, take “scenario-driven” as an important lever, build up the “technology—industry” bridging link, accelerate efforts to expand capacity and improve quality in the science and technology services sector, and enable all kinds of innovation entities to “transfer effectively,” “have the authority to transfer,” “be willing to transfer,” and “be able to transfer smoothly.”
