Honestly, I've been interested for a long time in whether it's really possible to make money with mobile mining using a smartphone. I looked into the topic and found a bunch of apps for cryptocurrency mining directly for Android and iPhone. Here's what I discovered.
The most popular ones are CryptoTab (one of the first, just install and run), StormGain (user-friendly interface, but it needs to be restarted every 4 hours), NiceHash (good profitability calculator), Bitdeer (for those who take it more seriously), and cloud services that allow renting computing power instead of direct mining on the device. All these mining apps operate on the principle of utilizing the phone's computational power.
On iPhone, it's more difficult due to Apple restrictions, so mostly cloud mining through the same apps. On Android, it's easier — you can try direct mining.
Regarding which coin is easiest to mine in 2024 — it's Monero (XMR), Dogecoin (DOGE), Vertcoin (VTC), and Ravencoin (RVN). But here's the catch: it takes about 10 minutes of computation on a powerful setup to mine one BTC, and on a phone, it will take much longer. The current BTC price is around $66.83k, making even small amounts interesting.
Honestly? Mobile mining is not a way to get rich quickly. It's more of a hobby or passive income if you're not demanding. The competition is huge, you need to keep up with app updates, and there's a risk of encountering fake apps. But if you approach carefully and don't expect miracles, why not give it a try? The main thing is not to rush to conclusions and to choose reliable mining apps from trusted sources.
