Cinda Securities Research Institute Director reported for sexually harassing female subordinate, police statement: Zuo Moumou has been criminally detained.

Shanghai Pudong Public Security releases a police incident briefing: At around 20:00 on March 24, 2026, the Weifang Xincun Police Station under the Pudong Public Security Branch received a report stating that a woman who came to Shanghai on business was sexually harassed by a coworker. The police immediately launched an investigation. At present, the criminal suspect, Zuo Moumou (male, 42), has been criminally detained by the police in accordance with the law, and the case is under further investigation. News on March 25 said that there have been online reports claiming that an individual female researcher at Cinda Securities (601059.SH) made a real-name complaint accusing the institute’s director and energy chief analyst, Zuo Qianming, of sexual harassment. Subsequently, the reporter called Cinda Securities’ investor hotline as an investor, and related staff said the company has already noted the online reports. The company has currently suspended all work by Zuo Qianming and initiated an internal review, while also actively cooperating with the relevant work of public security authorities. Public information shows that Zuo Qianming has been engaged in research and consulting in coal and energy-related fields for more than a decade. He joined Cinda Securities in 2016. Since 2019, he has been responsible for research on the large energy sector, led his team in winning numerous awards in the research field, and is known as the “sell-side analyst who goes down the mines a hundred times.”
