100,000 people participate in protests in Los Angeles, California; multiple arrests made

On the 28th, protests in Los Angeles, the United States, drew about 100,000 participants. Protesters also criticized the U.S. federal government’s current immigration policies, economic policies, foreign policies, and actions that illegally expand executive power. After the protests ended, many protesters continued to gather around the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center and clashed with the police.
