Hao Dongchen is under investigation; he previously served as the Party Secretary and legal representative of the Capital Museum.

According to news from the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision on March 19: Hao Dongchen, former member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently under disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.

Hao Dongchen, male, born in January 1955, from Qingfeng, Henan Province, started working in December 1973, joined the Communist Party in January 1977, has a bachelor’s degree in history from Capital Normal University, and is a political worker. He has previously served as a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage.

Hao Dongchen is a military transfer cadre. After transitioning, he entered the Beijing cultural heritage protection system, previously serving as deputy director and director of the Security Department of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage; deputy director and director of the Security Department of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage; director of the Safety Supervision Department of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage and captain of the Cultural Heritage Inspection Enforcement Team; deputy inspector of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, executive deputy director of the Capital Museum, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, member of the Party Leadership Group, and deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, as well as secretary of the Party Committee and legal representative of the Capital Museum.
