In response to turbulence in the energy market, Russia plans to implement a temporary ban on gasoline exports starting April 1.

The Russian government stated that Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed the Ministry of Energy on the 27th to draft an administrative order to prohibit gasoline exports starting from April 1, with the aim of stabilizing prices amid turmoil in the energy market caused by the conflict in the Middle East, and to prioritize supply for the domestic market in Russia.
