As of March 29, 2026, the National Intellectual Property Administration has made final decisions on 33 patent invalidation challenges against Haicheng Energy Storage.
Statistics from Corporate Patent Observation (PRIP) show that among these 33 completed invalidation decisions, there are 4 cases where the invalidation requesters successfully challenged and rendered Haicheng’s patents “completely invalid,” involving 2 patents (each patent underwent two invalidation procedures). Additionally, there are 2 patents that resulted in “partially invalid” outcomes, while the results of the remaining 27 invalidation challenges were all “maintained as valid.”
Since July of last year, Haicheng Energy Storage has faced a total of 41 invalidation challenges involving 37 patents, with four patents having been challenged twice. Currently, 8 patents are still under review.
From this perspective, the current patent validity rate for Haicheng Energy Storage’s decided cases is 85%.
Apart from Celcy Company, the other invalidation requesters, including Liu Bo, Zhang Lin, Ren Lidan, Wang Tiejun, Yang Jingdi, Zhao Haichao, and Zhang Yong, are all individuals.
