Pure benzene rose 3.69% in the night session, synthetic rubber increased by 3.34%, styrene climbed 3.13%, fuel oil was up 2.28%, methanol, p-xylene, ethylene glycol, short fiber, PTA, polypropylene, bottle flakes, and propylene rose by up to 1.99%. Plastics, palm oil, canola oil, low-sulfur fuel oil, soybean oil, No. 20 rubber, rubber, soybean meal, asphalt, and white sugar fell by up to 0.93%. Cotton, glass, soda ash, rebar, corn starch, and iron ore dropped by up to 0.31%, cotton yarn, pulp, LPG, hot-rolled steel, PVC, soybean meal, corn, No. 1 soybean, and japonica rice fell by up to 0.56%, caustic soda, canola meal, and coke dropped by up to 1.69%, and coking coal fell by 1.70%.
