Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Egyptian Foreign Minister

On March 29, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdel Aty in Islamabad. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive progress in defense and security cooperation and agreed to further strengthen collaboration through training exchanges and other institutional mechanisms. They exchanged views on regional and international situations, particularly the Middle East. They emphasized the need for restraint, de-escalation, and resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. Both sides agreed to continue close coordination in multilateral forums, including the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The meeting reaffirmed that Pakistan and Egypt are committed to further strengthening bilateral relations and deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual concern. (CCTV News)
