Export of construction machinery increased by 33.4% in the first two months

This report from Beijing on March 25 (Reporter Li Xinping) The reporter learned from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association that in the first two months, China’s construction machinery import and export trade volume totaled $11.072 billion, up 31.4% year over year. Of this, the export value was $10.686 billion, up 33.4% year over year.

From the perspective of export regions, exports of construction machinery products to all major continents have increased. Exports to Africa grew by 77%, exports to Oceania rose by 50.6%, and exports to Europe increased by 28.1%. Exports to countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative totaled $4.638 billion, accounting for 43.4% of total exports, up 24.6% year over year.

In terms of product types, the export values of categories such as construction machinery components, crawler excavators, and off-road mining dump trucks have increased significantly. High-end and electrified models have become new highlights for exports.
