Latest from the Middle East! Iran: Struck a U.S. military vessel and hit two U.S. "hidden outposts" in Dubai! Israel deployed over 50 fighter jets!
Here’s the latest report.
On the 28th local time, the spokesperson for the Central Command of Iran’s Armed Forces, Khatam al-Anbiya, stated that the Iranian military struck a support vessel belonging to the United States Navy off the coast of Salalah, Oman, early that morning.
The spokesperson also emphasized that Iran fully respects the sovereignty of Oman and pointed out that the location where the vessel was attacked is still quite far from Salalah port.
The spokesperson further stated that in the past few hours, the Iranian military conducted missile and drone strikes on two U.S. “covert bases” located in Dubai, claiming significant casualties among U.S. forces.
The spokesperson also mentioned that as Iran continues to strike U.S. bases in the Middle East, some U.S. soldiers have been relocated from the bases to external hiding places. These two “covert bases” in Dubai house over 400 and over 100 U.S. soldiers, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that if Iran’s infrastructure or economic centers become targets of attacks, Iran will retaliate strongly.
Raisi posted on social media that Iran will not conduct a preemptive attack, but if Iran’s infrastructure or economic centers are attacked, Iran will respond strongly. He warned that if regional countries wish to achieve development and security, they should not allow Iran’s adversaries to use their territory to launch attacks on Iran.
Additionally, reports indicate that a senior Iranian official stated on the 27th that the U.S. claims to want to negotiate while simultaneously attacking Iran, which is “unacceptable.”
Reuters quoted this official reporting that due to attacks on Iran’s industrial and nuclear facilities on the 27th, Iran has not yet decided whether to further respond to the U.S. proposed ceasefire plan, whereas Iran initially planned to respond on the 27th or 28th.
The International Atomic Energy Agency reported late on the 27th that it received notification from Iran that the Bushehr nuclear power plant was attacked again that day, marking the third attack on this nuclear power plant in ten days.
The Israeli Defense Forces announced on the 28th that on the 27th, the Israeli Air Force launched over 50 fighter jets to strike three nuclear facilities and weapon bases in Iran. The IDF stated that this attack was conducted in three waves and lasted several hours, targeting a heavy water plant in Arak, a special facility in Yazd used for producing explosive materials needed for uranium enrichment, and a weapon production base.
Recently, the U.S. government has been simultaneously offering Iran a “15-point plan” to end the conflict while continuing to send reinforcements to the Middle East. U.S. President Trump’s envoy, Wittekoff, stated on the 27th that the U.S. hopes to meet with Iran within a week and expects Iran to respond “soon” to the “15-point plan.” The spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces previously stated that only Iran has the right to set conditions for ending the conflict, and the U.S. and Israel will be forced to accept this reality.

Iran claims oil exports from Khark Island are proceeding normally
On the 28th local time, the spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ibrahim Rezaei, stated that the security situation on Khark Island is stable, daily life on the island is normal, and oil exports are proceeding smoothly.
Rezaei visited Khark Island with some members of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee that day, warning that any attack on Khark Island would be met with a strong response from Iran.
Khark Island is located in the northwest of the Persian Gulf, approximately 25 kilometers from the Iranian coast, and is Iran’s largest crude oil export base, with 90% of Iran’s crude oil exported from here.
Yemeni Houthi forces confirm missile launch toward Israel
The Yemeni Houthi forces issued a statement on March 28 local time stating that in response to the escalation of the current regional situation and military actions targeting Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestinian-related objectives, the organization has carried out its first military operation.
The statement claimed that this operation used multiple ballistic missiles to strike “important military targets” in Israel. The statement indicated that this operation was conducted simultaneously with military actions by Iran and Hezbollah and stated that the operation “successfully achieved its intended goals.”
The statement also indicated that relevant military actions will continue for a period of time until their announced objectives are achieved.
Additionally, related reports from Israel on the 28th indicated that the Yemeni Houthi forces launched ballistic missiles toward southern Israel, marking the Houthis’ “entry into the war.”
