Feishu CLI Open-Sourced, Signaling a Paradigm Shift in Software Usage in the AI Agent Era

On March 28, Feishu open-sourced its CLI (Command Line Interface), marking a paradigm shift in software usage in the AI Agent era. This transformation turns Feishu, a complex GUI (Graphical User Interface) office software, into a toolset that can be directly manipulated by AI through the command line. As a result, AI Agents, including Claude Code, can freely access Feishu. Analysts suggest that this open-sourcing is as significant as OpenClaw’s integration with Feishu, indicating that future software may need to possess a ‘dual form’: GUI for regular users and CLI for developers and AI Agents. The focus of software interaction design is shifting from ‘designed for human visual consumption’ to ‘designed for AI invocation.’
