Chengdu Bank: Agree to appoint Qi Jiao Jiao and Zhou Zhi Chen as Vice Presidents

On March 20, financial news from the front line reported that Chengdu Bank today announced the resolution of the 23rd (temporary) meeting of its eighth board of directors. The meeting reviewed and approved the proposal regarding the appointment of vice presidents of Chengdu Bank Co., Ltd., agreeing to appoint Qi Jiao Jiao and Zhou Zhi Chen as vice presidents of the company, with terms lasting until the eighth board of directors concludes. The qualifications of Qi Jiao Jiao and Zhou Zhi Chen are still pending approval from the State Council’s banking regulatory authority.

According to the resume, Qi Jiao Jiao, female, born in August 1979, graduated from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics with a major in finance, and holds a full-time master’s degree. She is currently a candidate for vice president of Chengdu Bank. She previously served as the deputy director of the Securities and Insurance Division of the Financial Office of Chengdu Municipal Government; deputy director, director, and deputy section chief of the Local Financial Development Division of the Chengdu Financial Work Office; section chief and director of the Local Financial Development Division of the Chengdu Financial Work Bureau; director of the Second Division of Local Financial Supervision of the Chengdu Local Financial Supervision Administration; and director of the Risk Prevention and Control Division of the Financial Office of the Municipal Party Committee (Municipal Financial Bureau).

Zhou Zhi Chen, male, born in March 1988, graduated from the University of Birmingham in the UK with a major in International Currency and Banking, holds a full-time master’s degree, and is an associate researcher (economic management). He is currently a candidate for vice president of Chengdu Bank. He previously served as the assistant general manager of the corporate business management department at the Chengdu branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, general manager of the South Marketing Department and assistant general manager of the corporate business management department, deputy general manager of the corporate business department, and deputy general manager (acting) of the investment banking department; deputy general manager of the investment banking division at Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank; deputy general manager and general manager of the investment banking department at Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank; and general manager of the corporate finance department (green finance department) at Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank, concurrently serving as the general manager of the investment banking department.

It is noteworthy that the qualification of the chairman of Chengdu Bank was recently approved. On March 11, the Sichuan Financial Regulatory Bureau issued a reply regarding the qualifications of Huang Jian Jun as a director and chairman of Chengdu Bank Co., Ltd., approving Huang Jian Jun’s qualifications as a director and chairman of Chengdu Bank.
