“The trains departing from here can directly reach all 31 provincial-level administrative regions across the country. The city’s only ‘five-line transfer’ hub—Lize Urban Terminal—is set to be put into operation this year, allowing direct access to Daxing International Airport in just 23 minutes.” Fengtai highlighted its “hub advantages” and “spatial dividends.” As the relevant person in charge of the Fengtai District Science and Technology and Information Bureau elaborated, a core hub vision of “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on Rails” gradually unfolded. “By 2035, Fengtai will add 24 million square meters of industrial space… ensuring that good projects are not lacking land, and good enterprises are not lacking space.” This is not only a commitment—it’s also the hard strength of Fengtai as a rare “incremental space” carrier in the capital’s central urban area.
