International Energy Agency Director: G7 meeting discusses all available options, including releasing emergency oil reserves

Odaily Planet Daily reports that International Energy Agency Director Fatih Birol stated that all options were discussed at the G7 meeting, including releasing the IEA emergency oil reserves to the market. Currently, IEA member countries hold over 1.2 billion barrels of public emergency oil reserves, and under government requests, they also hold an additional 600 million barrels of commercial crude oil inventories.
