Gelonghui March 1 — According to Eddie Precision, due to the continuous rise in prices of key raw materials such as tungsten carbide, hard alloy, and powder metallurgy high-speed steel, the company’s production costs for CNC inserts, integrated hard alloy tools, and gear tools have increased. Therefore, the company has decided to raise the prices of related products. Starting from March 1, all new orders will be executed at the adjusted prices. “Tungsten powder now changes in price daily, currently over 2 yuan per gram, which is similar to the price before the recent silver rally. The company’s product prices were increased by 30% in January, and this recent increase is also quite significant,” said a relevant person from Eddie Precision. He also mentioned that scrap alloy prices are rising in tandem, and downstream customers have expectations of price increases for the company’s products, with good acceptance.
