On March 1, according to CCTV News, two U.S. sources and a U.S. official familiar with the matter revealed that Israel and the United States chose to launch an attack on Iran on Saturday, coinciding with a meeting between Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei and his senior aides. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps vowed to impose “severe” and “decisive” punishment on the U.S. and Israel for the assassination of Khamenei. Currently, people are holding rallies and protests in New York City against the U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran.
