The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization issued the “Notice on Organizing and Promoting Typical Cases of Safety Emergency Equipment Application in 2026.” It states that this case recommendation covers three core scenarios, focusing on seven types of equipment, with an emphasis on encouraging innovative applications empowered by new generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence and 5G. Specifically, it includes: ① Key industry sectors for production safety and emergency rescue: covering industrial manufacturing, housing and municipal engineering, transportation, urban and rural firefighting, marine fields, etc., with recommended cases involving monitoring and early warning, intelligent protection, industrial firefighting, personal protection, occupational health, smart protection, gas masks, decontamination, inspection, communication command, navigation and positioning, and other equipment applications. ② Natural disaster prevention and control: targeting scenarios such as earthquakes and geology, floods and waterlogging, snow and ice, fires, etc., collecting cases related to early warning and response, rescue operations, emergency communication, and personnel search and rescue. ③ Community and household safety emergencies: focusing on environments like homes, scenic spots, and event venues, recommending cases involving emergency kits, fire detectors and alarms, household fire extinguishers, AEDs, and other safety emergency products.
