Recently, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the “Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls” and the “Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls.” Recall number S2026M0022V: effective immediately, a total of 312 Dongfeng brand KC and KL series pure electric vehicles produced between February 10, 2025, and May 10, 2025, are being recalled. Due to manufacturing reasons, vehicles within this recall scope may experience cracking of the water level sensor injection molded body, leading to coolant leaks, instrument malfunction alarms, and limited power. In extreme cases, water ingress into the wiring harness may cause short circuits, rendering the vehicle inoperable and posing safety risks. Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. will install plugs to seal the water level sensor installation holes free of charge for affected vehicles; inspect the entire vehicle wiring harness, and replace relevant wiring harnesses and connectors if necessary to eliminate safety hazards.
