Cryptocurrency KOL Stock Investment Private Survey: AI, Metals, and Energy Are the Hottest Sectors

A survey conducted by Korean KOL Joshua shows that out of 120 crypto KOLs, 55 participated, and 50 are involved in stock trading. Popular investment areas include AI, metals, and commodities, with many respondents indicating that the attractiveness of the crypto market has declined, leading them to shift to the stock market. The most commonly used trading platform is IBKR, and respondents also generally trade metals and commodities.

Odaily Planet Daily News reports that Korean KOL Joshua (MOZAIK) posted on X that he conducted a private survey of approximately 120 crypto KOLs from mid-January to early February, with 55 providing detailed responses.

The survey results show that among the 55 respondents, 50 are trading stocks, and 5 have just started exploring. Based on the number of KOLs holding positions, the most popular sectors are AI (11 people), metals and commodities (8 people), energy and power (8 people), storage and semiconductors (7 people), robotics and humanoid robots (6 people), space and defense (6 people). The most frequently mentioned stocks are INTC, GOOG, RKLB, ASTS, and AMZN, each mentioned by 4 people.

Several respondents expressed a trend of rotation from cryptocurrencies to stocks, with some stating “the crypto market is no longer attractive,” shifting their focus to robotics and humanoid robots. High-confidence themes include AI-driven storage chip shortages, space and defense, rare earths, and uranium energy.

Regarding trading platforms, IBKR is used by 24 people, making it the most popular, followed by Robinhood with 8 users. The rest are distributed among platforms like Schwab and Hyperliquid. The most common other asset classes traded by respondents are metals, followed by commodities, options, futures, and foreign exchange bonds. Among crypto traders focusing on stocks, Citrini7 is mentioned the most.
