Cardano is about to welcome its first major stablecoin integration: Circle's USDCx is coming soon. USDCx is the native version on Cardano, supported 1:1 by Xreserve with the original USDC. As of the February deadline, 14 million USDCx have been minted. The token will utilize zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technology to enhance privacy while maintaining the same functionality as standard Circle stablecoins. This move follows the protocol announced in January 2026, aiming to significantly improve liquidity and accessibility within the Cardano ecosystem.
