On February 27th, Feng Bo, founder of Dragonfly Capital, posted on X stating: “I don’t usually tweet often, but this time I want to clarify some facts. When I first founded Dragonfly, it was a mother fund. Through this business, I met many talented venture capitalists. Among all of them, Haseeb is undoubtedly the brightest star, so I invited him to join and co-found our venture capital business. Over the years, as the first international pure VC firm focused on crypto, we have experienced three to four cycles of bull and bear markets, constantly exploring and developing our own methodology. I have been involved in venture capital for many years. In my 30-year VC career, Haseeb has built one of the best partner teams I have ever worked with. In our partnership system, I mainly handle CeFi and global trading platform businesses; Tom Schmidt is one of the best investors in DeFi and consumer sectors among our peers; Rob Hadick is one of the most active and influential investors in stablecoins and fintech; and Haseeb is undoubtedly our leader. Being able to co-found our VC firm with Haseeb has been an extremely valuable experience.
