For unmanned aerial vehicles that are legally required to be insured, efforts are being made to incorporate mandatory insurance requirements into the pre-approval process for flight activities and other management procedures. Insurance status checks will be strengthened during flight operation management, and in the event of an accident, “every case must be verified.” Research is underway to establish institutional regulations related to mandatory insurance, including responsible entities, responsibility determination, and disposal procedures.
