Abstract generation in progress

Market reopening after the holiday is underway. Due to some inventory backlog during the Spring Festival period, prices fell to a low point after the market reopened. On February 24th (the eighth day of the Lunar New Year), the average price in main production areas was 2.85 yuan per jin, down 0.43 yuan per jin from before the holiday (the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month). Subsequently, downstream companies gradually resumed operations and replenished stocks, leading to a short-term increase in market demand and a slight rebound in prices. As of February 26th, the average price in main production areas slightly rose to 2.88 yuan per jin. Influenced by factors such as companies resuming work and school reopenings, traders have become more active in procurement in the production areas in recent days. The increased demand for eggs is expected to drive egg prices higher. At the beginning of next week, as replenishment gradually concludes, demand may weaken, and egg prices could experience a slight decline. Zhuochuang Information forecasts that nationwide egg prices may rise first and then fall, with an expected adjustment range of about 0.10 yuan per jin. (Zhuochuang Information)
