Its design is robust enough that, unless an unforeseen cryptographic collapse or an unexpected 51% attack occurs, it will continue to exist (even if these happen, I believe it can persist through forks).
However, Bitcoin might fall to a price level only suitable for enthusiasts to play with. Since it has completely failed as a currency or store of value, it cannot become the dominant currency in the future. Therefore, I suggest setting a price target for 2050 below $10,000 in present value terms, and it could be far below that level."
