The next bull market, you must embrace core crypto assets

The reason is simple— in the crypto world, the vast majority of people who buy random coins will not outperform leading coins in the long run.
Here's a very straightforward example. During the flash crash in October 2025, most altcoins were collectively cut in half, with many even going to zero. But Bitcoin? It only retraced about 15%. For BTC, it was just a sneeze; for altcoins, it was a bloodbath. The only reason is: the market only truly recognizes Bitcoin, not altcoins. Solid BTC, flowing altcoins—most altcoins' ultimate fate is to be eliminated.
Many people are afraid to buy Bitcoin, saying it's too expensive. This is a typical rookie mistake. The biggest difference between Bitcoin and other financial assets is that its value is based on consensus. What is consensus? It’s when everyone agrees that it’s worth something. Just like buying jewelry—would you give up gold because silver is cheap? There are reasons why it’s expensive; not understanding doesn’t mean it’s invalid.

I also used to speculate wildly on altcoins early on, but later I realized a fact: long-term returns cannot beat the leading coin in the same track. It’s the same principle as stock trading—if you can’t beat the index, just buy the index. In the crypto world, there is only one choice for large positions—Bitcoin.
Avoid contracts, don’t over-leverage altcoins, focus on BTC, and you can already outperform 90% of people. Your goal in the crypto world should also be only one: get more Bitcoin. Even if you participate in altcoins, the fundamental purpose is just to exchange for more Bitcoin.
