Is the US going to implement interest rate control policies? In the latest China International Capital Corporation (CICC) macro strategy meeting, analyst Zhang Jundong suggested that the US might have to implement interest rate control policies, in other words, loosening monetary policy. Zhang Jundong pointed out that the US has entered a fiscal-led period, and historically during such cycles, monetary policy will have to cooperate with fiscal expansion, effectively achieving fiscal deficit monetization.
